Create your own cut-paper art

Collect colored paper and found paper and keep it in a box or a really big envelope.
You can buy origami paper at an art store. You will also need scissors and a glue stick.

Use your imagination! What do you see? You are designing an illustration in your mind.

Next choose a background ................  and the paper colors or found paper you need.

Cut out the shapes ...... 

Glue the pieces together.

Think about your illustration again. What other details do you want to add?

Cut the details out and glue them on.

Once upon a time there was a slice of watermelon named Walter Melon.
  Walter Melon was the usual red with a white and green rind.
He grew up in a watermelon patch like all the other watermelons.
He was harvested like all the other watermelons.
BUT he wasn't an ordinary watermelon!
Walter Melon had magic seeds..........

Oh, while you’re cutting paper just be careful not to whistle or sneeze!
